a human, rick jones,who works in the spacial base ATSF (advanced technologie spacial fortress) was a good fighter,so he got choosed to complete the project ZAPHIR,that was about a giant mech suit to fight the zorah-jal,a dangerous insect-like alien speicies that resides into the groud,on the moon. those creatures want to bring a virus they created,the "nuke" on earth,to mutate all humans and living beings into ugly bug-like monsters. But project ZAPHIR is a secret administration that have the mission to eliminate every zorah-jal that exists with special mech suits and robots.
